Well, I got a lot of work done at the lab today, and I even turned in my take home midterm for Raza Women before midnight! :D *pat on the back* I'm also happy to say that I've made a lot of progress in my second semester in photography. I recently got my photos back from my last project and I went from a B- to an A- :DD I never believed that I would've jumped a grade higher from my very first project.
Even though I have a pretty tough professor, I like how she's really challenging us to step into unknown territory while teaching us some techniques along the way. I just wish she could have taught us about split filtering near the beginning. D: I used up so much paper without using split filtering, and if I had known that split filtering beforehand I would've saved myself a LOT of time and money.
But other than that, I have two prints that I'm very happy with, I'm gonna be making the last one tomorrow after I go on a tour with Amy and Sabrina to USF (San Francisco), since Amy got accepted into the school and wanted to see if we'd like to go on the tour with her. I'm pretty stoped for that, I've never been to the school but....maybe, I've passed by it? I actually don't know and I don't think any of my relatives know either. XD But I will tomorrow!
After that, I'll make the last print of my friends and hopefully have all of my prints flattened with the steampress. Oh man, I've made so many copies of each photo I'm going to use. D: But usually I make extras just to be safe in case one gets a lot of stains from chemicals or nasty scratches from me rushing through the developing process. But I lucked out this time since I didn't have a lot of stupid white spots on most of my prints.
So yesh, after the lab I'll head onto the Creative Arts building and find an open practice room to go over songs for the recital. I just need to rest my throat since it's still a little sore and I probably shouldn't talk and I hope I don't choke!
